Okay so quite a lots happened since my last post. Moms still in a lot of pain and hasn’t been able to get out much (or off the couch for that matter). Last time I saw anyone the colour grey moms been we were watching iZombie on tv! Auntie Maddie and in fact everyone she’s seen has told her she can’t drive yet because she’s been on A LOT of medication. Good news is she’s been signed off until Tuesday 27th so I have lots of company. I should also mention Bonnie chihuahua has been staying with us as nana has spent nearly a week in hospital. She’s out now but staying with auntie Tania so Bonnie is staying with us for the time being. It’s good the weather hasn’t been too bad as mom hasn’t been up to taking us to my lamppost (just as well we are civilised chihuahuas and know how to use the indoor facilities). I really don’t understand why all dogs don’t have them. What on earth do they do if they need the lamppost at 2am!
Anyway not a lot of news other than that. Obviously hurting as much as she does mom hasn’t been playing the mandolin lately so I’ve had a rest from repeats of Don McCleans American Pie! Hope she masters it soon though so we can move on to something else. Oh oh whoops I got caught out. Moms friend from school sent the photo below to her today. I’m quite proud of the photo but I hadn’t told mom I’d gone for the interview let alone got the modelling job. She asked me why I’d not told her so I mentioned that a dogs got to look out for his future and can’t depend on owners lasting for ever etc. It all got a bit awkward really…. I may have shot myself in the foot as far as belly rubs and duck treats go. She muttered about independent dogs with their own finances being able to contribute to bills as she went out to make mine and Bonnies tea.
